The Leader in On-Set and Special Event Medical Services
We are a collection of like-minded EMTs, Paramedics and other EMS Professionals (Emergency Medical Service) who love to serve. Our service provides producers of TV, film, and live events with turn-key medical coverage—at competitive prices.
But we offer much more than just medics. We supply medical equipment and supplies, handle all necessary insurance and medical director requirements, and have the infrastructure to deliver reliable service wherever your production goes.
Our goal is to provide a qualified medic close to your filming location, no matter where that may be. While proximity cannot always be guaranteed, we've successfully supported many traveling productions and events. For our highly specialized advanced medics, transportation and lodging are typically required, so early booking is recommended.
How It Works
Request a Medic
When a producer requests an EMS professional, we search our vast database built from the ground up to find the closest and best-qualified medic for your location.
We Provide Everything
Medical professionals, malpractice and liability insurance, necessary kits, advanced life support, medical control, and even ambulances and other rescue apparatus.
Seamless Coordination
Once medics are secured, we provide you with their contact information. We pay the medics and invoice your production company with copies of the medic's daily reports.
About Our Medics
In the film industry, we use the term "medic" for simplicity, though the correct designations are EMT and Paramedic. Every medic in our network holds, at a minimum, a valid EMT certification.
Each member of our database personally chose to join National Set Medics, and most continue to work actively within the EMS system. We have personnel in every major city and countless small towns across the United States, with new medics joining daily.
Every medic has earned their EMT, Paramedic, or higher certification through their state or the National Registry, completing months or years of training, extensive clinical rotations, background checks, and state or national approval.
Every medic in our network:
- Holds a valid EMT or Paramedic certification
- Certified through their state or National Registry
- Completed extensive clinical rotations
- Personally chose to join National Set Medics
